Long descender – bug or setting?

I’m having an issue when I use my exported font in apps (like Illustrator and Photoshop). It seems like the built-in space/size for descenders is very long for some reason, and so the typing cursor and highlighted box are super tall. A much earlier version of my font did not have this problem so I’m trying to figure out what’s causing it, since it’s driving me crazy and just looks wrong.

The bounding box of one of your glyphs extends so far below. Probably mispasted a path. There is a mekkablue script called Test > Report Highest and Lowest Glyphs for finding the culprit.
