LSB modify (multi layer editing)

Hi,

I’m currently working on a multi-layered font.
Each layer contains and checked the following custom parameter: “Link Metrics With First Master"

I want to modify the LSB for some glyphs.
First I choose the “First Master".
LSB_glyphs
If I enter the new value numerically, the amendment will only appear on the first master. On the other masters, the change is done on the right sidebearing (RSB).
This is alright? In my opinion, this is not good.
When I’m using ctrl + left or right cursor, I got same result.

(If I switching to another master (for example cmd + 3) and I’m using ctrl + left or right cursor, then each layer will make the change well. Which includes the first master.)

Glyphs version 2.5.2 (1161)

The width is kept in sync. Moving stuff without changing the width: Ctrl+Cmd+arrows

Unfotunatelly not, if I entered the value. :frowning:

If I enter the new LSB value numerically, the amendment will only appear on the first master. On the all other masters, the change is done on the RSB.

Update:
Only the width in the sync? Because the layers are slipping. :frowning:
I would like the increase the LSB, on the all layers.
I can modify the LSB with ctrl + arrows, but I need to switch from the first master. It’s so weird.

I created a sample file. This contains only one glyphs “A” and as reference the “I”.
Please try to increase the LSB on Master1. I hope so, the problem is better understood.

Yesterday I successfully fixed my slipped layers.
I still think this is a bug.

@GeorgSeifert @mekkablue Please check this file and handle it as a bug report.

Thank you for the file, will have a look later.
