Any news on this?
At the moment I need to export it as OTF and then import the glyphs to get the shape.
Open corners also become filled shapes after remove overlap.
Any reason you are doing the remove overlap manually?

Yes. You can use a Filter. The syntax is in the parameter description when you add the parameter.

No Remove Overlap though, in Filter lists;
So I cannot copy the parameters
