Max width of glyph vector

Is there a maximum width for the vectors that make up the glyph? I’m pasting in content from Illustrator to create a logo font with four characters, not a regular font, while trying to match a previous version for size

There is a maximum coordinate value of something like 16000 units in the spec. But a lot apps will stop drawing before that. There is no exact value that can be considered save. You have to test it in the apps that you know the font will be used in.
What you can do is to reduce the UPM and scale down everything. Or cut the logo into multiple pieces.

Thanks @GeorgSeifert !

Word is pretty strict on this. I think @buerofliegenpilz knows more.

You may also have different results with TTF and CFF.
