Hello, Rainer, @mekkablue.
I think I should direct my question to you.
I’ve noticed that the letters displayed in Variable Font Test HTML
aren’t synchronized with the current state of my font.
The font has a single weight axis
. First off, I worked on and finished the Black master
for both uppercases and lowercases.
After finishing the light
extreme for lowercases, I ran the script – but all glyphs appeared in a fallback font.
The next day, I began working on Light master
of uppercase letters. When I reran the script, the weight transition for the lowercase letters worked correctly, but the uppercase glyphs only displayed in Black
, as if the script was referencing a previous state of the font file.
I can’t say for sure what triggered the updates, but it seems the script doesn’t run in real time : the changes appear delayed.
What I’ve tried :
- Quite and reopen Glyphs, then rerun the script. => no effect
- Exported the font and tested it in the
Font gauntlet
made by Dinamo, animation worked fine aross the axis .
My working environement:
- MAC OS intel core Sequoia 15.3.2
- Glyphs 3413
Do you have any idea what might be causing this, how I can force the test HTML to reflect the current state of the font?
Grazie!
