Merging layers to another layer

Hi,

I would like to merge two layers to another layer.
I found Mekkablue’s “Copy Layer to Layer” script.
Almost ideal for me. Unfortunately this script clears the destination layer every time.
After copying one layer to destination layer, and run the script again with another source layer, the destination layer will be replaced with the last source layer.
I would like to merge. I can say so I would like to copy two layers to another one destination layer.
How can this be done easily?

@mekkablue: I would like to request a “little” modification. Please add a checkbox: Do not clear the destination layer.
Possibly, if not a big request?
