Missing diacritics on Glyphs 3.1.2

Hi everyone,

The comb diacritics of one of my students went missing. He was working on Glyphs 3.1 (3133). Never updated, and they went missing. When I tried opening the file in Glyphs 3.1.2 (3151) the attached message shows up. Whether I check or uncheck the components, the result is the same.

What do you mean by “missing diacritics”.

That dialog means that some components in the files will change when the automatic aligned it applied. There are two reasons why this can happen.

  1. the file was written without syncing all components after some base glyphs have changed
  2. There was a changes in how the alignment works in different versions of the app (e.g. how anchors are taken from nested components.

In your case here you probably like to Check All and then go though the file and clean it up (e.g. adjust anchors).
