How do I ensure that the width of the letter remains the same when I apply ‘Offset Curve’. The ‘Auto Stroke’ option takes care of the height.
That is currently not possible.

You won’t be able to guarantee that the width doesn’t change. But, you could play with the offset Position. 100% or 0% might get you closer. It might also cause you to change how you position paths when you draw them. Still, you’ll want to review each of the glyphs.
