Hello.
So I want to participate in the Morisawa Type Design contest.
But I’m not so sure about the Guidelines.
My question: On the “Latin Sheet A” there is some advice like
font: 14pt leading: 14pt line length 40 pica or 480pt
But what when my font has a short line-height? Can I put these sample texts in 16pt, or is that against the rules? BTW. should I use just the template text for the presentation, or can use whatever I want?
I’m a bit confused about this, and I don’t want to disqualify myself because instead of 14pt I used 16pt.
I know that’s not a Glyph question, but maybe someone is also preparing his font for this contest. Maybe someone can help me.
Well I found the answer…
“Please typeset the same text as the sample, following each entry sheet.
Set the spacing between characters according to the captions of each entry sheet.
For the Hangeul category, fill and submit a sheet with the same typesetting direction as created for all the challenge characters (Sheet 1).”
