My bitmap SVG font doesn't work

I tried to follow the tutorial: https://glyphsapp.com/zh/learn/creating-an-svg-color-font, and made an bitmap SVG font with Glyphs 3.0.4 (3108). But the font doesn’t work.
I made a video recording of the font making process:

What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Naming the sub layer as ‘svg’ is the wrong part (this was correct in G2, but not anymore in G3). Right-click the new layer to open the context menu where you choose svg.
