# My guides and anchors disappear!

I have drawn them repeatedly but they vanish. I am going back to version 3, this is too frustrating. I can’t get any work done.

can you check the file format in Font Info \> Document \> File format version?

it was 4 during all this but I just changed it to 3 so I can work in 3 on the same file.
