Some things cannot be done via makeotf yet. Perhaps it is the DB file, but perhaps there is something hard wired in makeotf, we don’t know at the moment.
Best bet currently is to reopen the exported file in OTMaster and fix the entry manually. If you need to do it a lot, perhaps a batch script doing the same via ttx could do the trick.
