Naming conventions for combinations of diacritic marks with stylistic sets

I’m having difficulty figuring out how to apply diacritics to stylistic sets. For example, I’d like to add an acute accent to the a.ss01. However, when I create aacute.sso1, the new glyph contains the regular a, not that from a.ss01. Is there a way of generating the diacritics for ss01 etc?

Thanks in advance.

Hm, that should work. How do you create aacute.ss01? And which app version are you using?

I’m using 2.4 (939) on OS X 10.12.3 (Sierra), which may have been causing the problem.
I tried it on version 10.11 of the OS and everything worked as expected.

It looks like the bug is on the Sierra side (along with many others!).
Thanks for your response.

These things have nothing to do with the version of macOS. There has to be other differences between the two machines.

There may well be Georg. The first machine is a test bed at my workplace — it’s proven buggy on a number of levels so far. In any case, it is working as intended on the other machine.
