New Alphabet Generator

A long overdue project, this came out of a week long introductory course in Python for graphic and type designers given by Gustavo Ferreira and Joancarles Casasín, that took place in São Paulo in February 2014. It auto generates a rendition of Wim Crouwel’s New Alphabet – just install and run the script on a new file.

Code is convoluted and terribly organised but it works under Glyphs 1.4.x (haven’t updated yet, sorry about that).

Install, use, make pull requests and fork in Github.

To rdazvd,

Installed the script on Version 1.4.5 (614) will give it a try.
Wim Crouwel’s New Alphabet is an iconic design.
