Orange glyph tiles

Hello,

I am wondering if you can help me… I am working on a font and I don’t know exactly when theese orange tiles appeared (photo). I did not click on the colour circles on the left side, nor do the orange tiles disappear if I click “x”. Does the orange color mean anything, or can I just leave it as it is?

Those are color labels on the layers. Select them, right click, press the Option key and click the “x” next to the color badges.

Yes, they are layer colors, not just glyph colors. Hence the Opt key.
