Otf size gone huge!

Hey, I am adding some language support to a font, just 15/20 more glyphs, also I delete all hinting… but when exported again, the file turns from 1.3mb to 4.2mb. Why this could be happens? I disabled subrutines as a Font parameter and autohint too as export msg suggest since is a complex outline font

Perhaps this is similar? Exported file size has doubled when updating old file

I was just reading it… seems no solution yet.

I did a ‘retractor’ to the whole font and the file size reduced 50%… it’s a good balance and the design did not compromise too much.

The subroutines are there to reduce the file size. So disabling it will increase the file size.
