Parallel lines, brushes?

Hi!

Was wondering if it was possible to create parallel lines around a single spline, as in the screenshot from illustrator? Will save me a lot of time!

Filter > Offset Paths > check Make Stroke doesn’t leave the open ends, but gets you most of the way there.
