I noticed that the path reconstruction algorithm seems to have changed, for the worse for my purpose. If you slant a bowl shape, add extremes, and remove the diagonals (the old extremes), the handle is slightly off vertical. Notice the width value of 4 in the screenshot which should be 0.

Can you round the coordinates before you remove the node? Does that make a difference?
Rounding coordinates beforehand does improve the results. I don’t know what’s happening; I observe the coordinates, but they are rounded to .0 at all times.
I know what’s wrong. I’ll fix it.
