Pathfinder Tools add Merge, Subtract, Intersect and Exclude buttons

Hi

Is it possible to add functionality and add a “Pathfinder Tools” panel with four buttons “Merge, Subtract, Intersect and Exclude”?
It would be very convenient to have this functionality in the Glyphs application.

I use the plugin “Extrude Tool” by Daniel Gamage, and wanted to try to create my own plugin similar to this one to add my buttons, but my knowledge of writing plugins and Python is zero.

These already exist. You will find them located at the bottom of the Transformation palette:

If possible, before in the future could we still add an Exclude button?

I admit, I never needed an exclude/symmetric difference button. Can you share what you would use it for?
