Placeholder is not showing the current glyph?

I’m wondering if it’s a bug or I am (again!) doing something wrong…

  1. first line - o ‘placeholder’ o
    2 on the next line typing ‘rn’
  2. moving the cursor between r and n doesn’t do anything with the placeholder. it still shows up as an “o”.

Figured this out.
the “rn” line needs to be before placeholders, not after. in this case it works
