Is it currently possible to have stroke endings respect the italic angle?
What do you mean exactly? Can you draw the angle you would like to have at the endings?
Maybe this is more clear. In this situation, it would be nice to (at least have the option to) have the horizontal stroke endings cut at the italic angle. In the same way it cuts the stroke vertically in an upright design.
This is not possible at the moment. You have to expand and apply the transformation manually.
