Preview Window seems to be broken

Hello Glyphs team, in the latest version 3.3 (3306) the Preview Window seems to be broken.

  1. It only shows a default font, not the selected instance.
  2. Changing the font size only works once.
Tested with different Glyphs-files. Or am I missing something?
    Thank you in advance!

The preview should update as soon as you start working on the outlines of a font.

Thank you for the quick reply!
Unfortunately it does not.

Additionally: If I change a node and change the preview font size, the undo-method fails.

Can you try to start without plugins. Hold down the Option + Shift key when you start Glyphs.

That did the trick! Now it works again. The undo-bug persists.

Can you explain the exact steps to reproduce this error message? It would be great if I could reproduce it myself. That would be the first step to fix it.
And what version of Glyphs do you use? Can you try the latest cutting edge version?

I use Glyphs Version 3.3 (3306). This is cutting edge, isn’t it?
Here the steps to reproduce the undo-bug:

  1. Open a Glyphs-file with plugins deactivated.
  2. Open a glyph in the edit view.
  3. Open the text preview window.
  4. Change something in the glyph.
  5. Change the font-size in the text preview window.
  6. Undo the changes.
  7. Change the glyph and the font-size again. Now the warning appears and undoing the changes is not possible.

Also, if using Glyphs without plugins and it worked (better), it would be great to find out which plugin interferes. So that it can be fixed properly. If you have the time to try to find out, that would be much appreciated.

Thanks for you help. I hope I have fixed it.

Thank you, @GeorgSeifert!
It now works. Also with activated plugins.
