There is a problem when I use the font on others softwares.
Especially for ï-î-ö-ô-û-ü… the font changes automatically to myriad pro.
How can I fix it ?
Which software? This sounds like a fallback font the software switches to when the font you’re using doesn’t contain the characters needed. Usually only office software does that, but Myriad is an Adobe font. Adobe apps usually mark the missing characters.
Illustrator, powerpoint, word… But when I try it on Indesign, the software recognized the font! This confirms that my glyphs works.
Any idea to resolve this problem ? Thank you
How are you testing your fonts?
I am asking because it could be a font cache problem. Read this please:
I had a similar problem. If I remember correctly, it had to do with creating legacy glyphs. Check the menu items on the left and make sure you have all legacy glyphs created. You should also have both the comb versions and regular versions — eg: acuteaccentcomb and acuteaccent etc.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for the input. Creating legacy marks is described in this tutorial: https://glyphsapp.com/tutorials/diacritics (scroll down a little).
