Problem with Metrics Key Calculations

Hi,
I’m on 3.3 (3311) and I seem to have a problem with Metrics Key Calculations when there is a serif component. For instance, the result given for =H@300*0.4 ends up in a negative value when it should be 36.
From what I remember, it worked fine in the previous versions.
Thx

Are you sure you like to like the RSB of the F to the H? This is not recommended. Only link similar shapes. (e.g. the RSB of the O and D).
The @300 is applied to both the H (measure) and the F to apply. So the value taken from the H, is allied to the stem of the F, not taken as is as RSB value.

My bad, I guess I didn’t understand the logic. I thought this was about SB values as numbers, regardless of shapes: I assumed it was just taking a number and putting it in an equation.

H (and O) being the basis for spacing, I tend to make percentages of their sidebearings for the rest of the characters (using them as “constants” in a way).

IMO, the way it’s displayed on the app, you would expect that F(RSB) = H(RSB@300)*0.4, not F(RSB@300) = H(RSB@300)*0.4.

Please don’t do that.
