Question about video tutorial

There is something minor that I don’t understand about one of the video tutorials.
The video is “Editing Outlines” and the question is related to a reference to opening corners (the sequence of interest starts at 1:53).

Why would you open the apex of the counter of an “A”. What’s the difference between the sequence shown on the video and selecting the counter apex node and simply moving that one apex node?

Thanks,

dglen

If you try to change the width of one of the legs of the A, it is much easier if you have disconnected them as you now can move them independent from each other. also changing the angle of the legs will not disturb them so much. Give it a try and you will see.

OK. I’ll try it. I like such tips. Appreciate the help.
