Reading bottom to top

Hi there

I’m making a custom display font for a client, that should be read bottom-to-top. It’s basically a Latin font but the client (an agency) wants to make sure, that the text is always set vertically, reading from bottom to top. My question: is there a solution to define this in the font software (print and webfont needed), or is it smarter to make sure the text is always set correctly in whatever application it is used (InDesign, Web)?

I guess its the latter, but maybe someone has another clever solution?

There is nothing in the font that can control this. That has to be handled in the layout.
