How can I remove features in a variable font? The custom parameters for instances are not evaluated while exporting VF.
Currently, you could do it the other way round. set up all the features as you would for a variable font. Then, in your static instances, to make the changes for the static fonts.

Then I guess the most comfortable way (without messing with the file too much) is to remove them post-export.
I’ll see what I can do.
