Remove overlap didn't remove the overlap

This is a message from a Windows user:

I tried this using InDesign on a Mac (overlap issue is still there at 27pt size but fine at 28pt)

After export (from InDesign), the issue only remained at 12pt size

The 27pt size overlap is gone:

The path direction is wrong. Right click and “Reverse all Contours”.
