Remove overlap problem

I drew the character “multiply” (x) out of two rectangles. After exporting the font only one diagonal rectangle is visible. The same happens when I used the filter “remove overlap”, one of the tow rectangles disappeared. Is there something I did wrong or is this maybe a bug?

Try using Layers > Correct Path Directions on the outlines then try removing the overlap.

This is a known issue with the remove overlap code that I got from Adobe. I hope that I get a fix from Adobe soon.

For now, add on node to one of the shapes, somewhere in the overlap.
