Request: close “open outside corners” when exporting Variable Font

Hi guys,

guess the topic explains it all: would be nice to have the “decompose smart stuff” option, which you – thank you! – added to the UFO export (in Glyphs 2.5b) also available for the export of Variable Fonts.

What do you think?

Problem: it may break outline compatibility. Not an issue in UFO export, but in OTVar export.

Open Corners should be fine with the compatibility. I’ll have a look.

It already works if you have a corner component in the glyph

Hi, I have the same problem about "open outside corner with Variable Font.
