I am working on a color font. I started with four masters and along the way I converted the masters to layers. Since then a fair amount of work has been done on it. I was wondering if it is possible to convert the layers back to masters ? ---

I want to make to make each layer stand alone. ---

There is no build in functionality to do that. You need to write a script for that. ---

I don’t know. But some LLM will write you that script in no time. ---

There actually are scripts for that in the mekkablue scripts. Look in the Color Fonts submenu. ---

I had a look and could find the one that was working for. Or I may have overlooked. But I pretty much tried all πŸ™‚ I needed to convert the four color layers to four separate masters
