Same glyph in multiple scripts

Hello,

I’m working on a multiple script typeface and I wonder if in Glyphs it is possible to use the same kerning class for letters like: A, A-cy and Alpha? I always did it and found no issues, although when discussing with a friend the fact that KernOn gives distinct classes for the same letter that belongs to different scripts (the A, in this case) he mentioned some issues with subtables.

It is OK for most modern implementations. AFAIK it may be an issue for Word on Windows and other apps with outdated GPOS implementations. You may need to do some testing.

In @Tosche’s script collection (available in Window > Plugin Manager), there is a script that can separate kerning by script.
