Sample text in programs (i.e. Illustrator, PS) font list

Hey y’all,

Still working on my dingbats font. Since the font is made of images and not text, the sample string in programs such as Illustrator or Photoshop is made of images of the font glyphs, this makes sense to me. Is there a way to a display a custom text string in a programs font list? I have tried adding a sampleText custom parameter in both the Font and Instances section of the Font Info with no luck. Might I get some guidance?

I don’t think so. It shows “Beispiel” (German Illustrator CC) for all latin fonts and some glyphs for none latin.
