Would it be possible to have the option to save any python script written into the macro window, so it can then be accessible in the scripts menu? Or is there another way to do that?
Best to select all, copy and paste it Into a TextMate or SublimeText window (or whichever text editor you are using) and save it from there into the Scripts folder.
Hah yep that’s what I’ve been doing so far. It would be faster without leaving Glyphs. Would there be a drawback to having a save button?
We actually have some plans for the future. But the Macro window cannot replace a proper python-ready text editor. Keep in mind that the predefined variables Layer and Font are not available in separate scripts.
