Segment Selection Problems

I am using the lates 3509.

I used to be able to select a segment, skip the next segment and select the next segment after that. Copy and paste and have all three segments. Now when I paste, only the two segments I actually selected appear. The segment in the middle is gone.

Is there a setting somewhere that changed in the new version?

can you show a screenshot of the path just before you copy?

This would only work if the middle segment is a line segment (i.e. does not have curve handles).

First is selected, second is pasted. I can see the BCP’s didn’t select. This seemed to always work on curves. I’m pretty sure any way.
