Separate/detachable layer sidebar? (Feature request)

is it possible to add a detachable layer sidebar? so when there are ‘so many’ layers or masters we can easily scroll the layers and the transformation sidebar is not pushed all the way to the bottom (or even dissappear)?

is it just me that have a messy layers?

You can look into Master Selector in the plugin manager.

There are also a couple of options at the bottom of the layers pane to Only Show Layers from Current Master and also to Hide Backup Layers.
