Set kerning groups (python script)

I tried this script, and after it ends, it shows the result at the console but when open the kerning palette, there is nothing created there. I am missing something?https://github.com/schriftgestalt/Glyphs-Scripts/blob/master/Metrics%20%26%20Classes/set%20Kerning%20Groups.py

Kerning groups do not show up in the kerning panel unless you actually have kerning with it.
If you have glyph kerning in the font already, you need to convert it to group kerning. Click the gear button in the kerning panel and choose ‘Compress’.
