Settings for variable typeface Grotesque - Monospaced

Hello,

I am making my first font on glyphs 3, the font in question has four masters, two grotesque and two monospaced.

My doubt arises from the fact that I don’t know how to set the variability between the grotesque and monospaced masters, I currently set in Font info > Font > Axes > “Width”.
I don’t know if this is the most appropriate setting for my font, I hope someone can help me.

If you truly are interpolating from a proportional grotesque to a fixed pitch master, then you should make a custom axis. You can define one in the Font Info Setting up Axes — Glyphs Handbook
