I’m working through the Creating a Devanagari font tutorial and it mentions setting a shoulderHeight custom parameter to enable the anchors to lock in to the right place. I can’t find this anywhere? Has it vanished? I’m not actually trying to create a Devanagari, I’m trying to create a Bengali, and can’t seem to get any anchors to automatically appear with Cmd+U. Would this be the reason why?
The shoulderHeight parameter was the way to do it in Glyphs 2. The tutorial needs it be updated.
What you do in Glyphs 3 is to add an additional Cap or top height (in the metrics settings) and then add a filter to only show for the script you need it.
