I get the image below in InDesign, with smcp and liga on. Moving liga below smcp in the ‘feature’ window would do the trick, I suppose. Is there any reason not to do that?
You need to move the liga feature below the smcp feature.

I am sure it is by default. But the update mechanism does not fiddle with your own order, in case you already have established one. This is probably the case here.
