I’m trying to decide whether or not I want to buy the Glyphs Mini version of this program (not rich enough to afford the full version of it).

Here’s the thing. I’m not extremely sophisticated with computers. But I want to create a custom language font (a fixed width / monospace font). I want to be able to use the font in Microsoft Word or in Pages. I’ve made ttfs before, but the programs I’m trying to use now aren’t very sophisticated.

TL,DR: Is Glyphs Mini capable of making a font that’s usable in Word? How many programs can use the glyphs created from Glyphs Mini?

Yes. All apps that use the fonts installed in the system. So all programs at are properly compatible with Mac OS or Windows are able to use the fonts.
