I’m hoping you guys could help me with this: I have a variable font and I’m trying to export instances from it when I get this error: Something went wrong when Removing Overlap in glyph: at
I have checked everything and I can’t figure out why that’s happening. Any solutions?

Check so there are no odd/messy vectors, or crossing path handles.
What I do in that situation is to “manually” remove overlap; i e go into the glyphs at and click Remove Overlap. If it does not work, try to remove part of it and try again. Alternatively select only part of it and remove overlap. That way you will soon find the problematic node, will be able to fix it or delete it, and try to export again.
Can you send me the .glyphs file? I like to have a look at it, we might be able to fix the algorithm.
