"something went wrong with the remove overlap filter"

Hi, I’m having trouble editing my glyphs. Indeed, when I want to remove the overlap an error message is displayed “something went wrong with the remove overlap filter”. This same message is displayed when exporting.
I have already tried many techniques found on this forum but none of them work.
Do you have a solution ?
I have glyph Version 2.4.2 (1056)

Why do you have such an old version?
And what version of macOS do you have?

Thanks for your quick reply. I haven’t made an update of glyph app. And i have mac OS X 10.11
