Spacing errors in TTF version on PC

I created a script font with the letters perfectly spaced and kerned. Then exported as a TTF and had a friend test it on their PC in Illustrator CS2, and all of the spacing/kerning is gone. The glyphs are all separated instead of flowing from one to the next as they should. Also, some letters are cut off. Basically there are a lot of strange errors in the TTF. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Note - the same friend tested the OTF version of this font on a Mac and saw the correct spacing.

@GeorgSeifert - I found further problems with this font on a PC and also with Microsoft Word on my Mac. can you please take a look at the font? Where can I send it?
