First, I’d like to compliment the TrueType hinting interface and elegant solutions that Glyphs offers.
Unfortunately the variable font export still has a lot of issues.
The stems issue pointed out by @jkutilek here is still unresolved.
Additionally I figured that the accents, that are attached to the x-height (as supposed according to the tutorial) are flying high in Microsoft Edge. This happens when exporting from 3.0.2, 3.0.3 and 3.0.4.
Exporting from 2.6.7 does resolve this problem, but still has other issues, including the one mentioned above.
These fixes had been promised a long time ago and new versions claim to have resolved them.
