I have a variable font with around 10 instances defined, and half of them are style-linked as the Bold version of others.
In testing in InDesign, I find that one of the pairs works but none of the others do. Is this an InDesign bug? If so are there other avenues for testing style-linking?
Last time I checked there were major issues with variable font style linking in every place I tried. I tested on Windows 10 and macOS 11 in Word and Adobe apps and nothing was doing what I expected. I’m working on a variable font that sounds like what you have where a lot of the instances should be style linked and I saw the same results. I’ll check the existing bug reports and open a new one if there isn’t one.
