Switching to empty background layer causes crash

Any idea, why switching to a specific background layer could cause crash? (Latest stable, plug-ins off - duplicating the glyph does not help)

The problem is caused by the master custom parameter: Master color. If set and without value, Glyphs crashes.

Maybe this empty value is from an old version?
Strange, that it only happens, when accessing the background…

Which version of the app is that? There was a very similar bug fixed a while ago.

Its 3.2.1 (3258).

Any reason you aren’t using the latest stable release? You can deactivate cutting-edge updates and then update.

Ah. Sorry, my fault. I used to load the cutting edge versions a lot. but for some time now it’s been too stressful for me and I’ve usually clicked them away. I should have changed it long ago, as you advised…
