Symbols don't appear after export

I’ve added some symbols (262E/peace,2734/eightPointedBlackStar,2764/heavyBlackHeart) to my font but they don’t appear in a glyph list (in illustrator for example) after exporting the font to otf. These glyphs are checked for export)

If anyone can help me on this subject

How are you testing your font? Do the glyphs show up in other applications such as fontgauntlet.com?

Yes, I’ve tested the fonts on fontgauntlet.com and the symbols appear just fine, as do the Opentype functions. I had not tested with Adobe tools. I guess it’s a matter of clearing font cache files…

Use the method I linked to above, it’s really useful when testing in Adobe apps. If the glyphs appear elsewhere, this is most likely a font cache issue. Avoid these issues altogether by using the Adobe fonts folder as described above.
