Tabs still disappear when resizing window

Resizing the application window still causes the tabs to shift up/down and disappear. Attached is a screencast for reference.

I can confirm this problem.

The tab bar comes back if you change only the width of the window.

That’s certainly a “work around” if you will, but surely it should work from the get-go. The behavior is clearly broken, as other applications don’t do this. Any hope for a proper fix in future updates?
