Hi - I’m creating a caps-only font and when I use it in Illustrator, there’s a tall space below the character. I’ve set descender height to 0. Is there something else I should be doing so this isn’t so tall? I must have some settings wrong.

You have probably some stray path in on of your glyphs.
any easy way to figure out which one? I’ve opened them all and don’t see any at a quick glance.
Try the mekkablue script Test > Report Highest and Lowest Glyphs or perhaps the plug-in Show Tops and Bottoms.
